When I saw that you had edited the Dark Knight trilogy, I was excited and looking forward to what you had to offer. When I watched your Batman Begins edit, I wasn't exactly disappointed, but I didn't quite feel fulfilled either. Because of that, I decided to skip The Dark Knight since it is my favorite out of the A quicker and leaner Dark Knight. Gone is the fluff of supporting expositions and narratives and what remains in the wake is a less nonsense action film that most people probably wanted from the Dark Knight. An excellent fanedit! Fans of Nolan's Bat Trilogy will love this cut, much tighter and less groan-worthy. I didn't "agree" with every cut, but no major harm was done. The only nitpick is (as others have mentioned also) the de-emphasis on "It's not who you are underneath" Mainly because now Rachel This Dark Knight Saga Recut Trilogy is a great alternative to the original Dark Knight Trilogy. A technically brilliant feat, the editing is stellar throughout. A great improvement from the original, though I felt one or two cuts could've stayed. Probably some of the humor I want back but that's subjective, of course. Highly recommended saga, the three films really shines in njvc's take on 'em.

My personal impression of Nolan's final entry in the Dark Knight trilogy is that it is an excellent film, but a very bad Batman movie. After loving the first two movies, I left the theatre after watching RISES feeling very frustrated. On one level, blown away at the craftsmanship and artistic nature of the film.
While the editing is excellent throughout, I feel the editor was too liberal with his cuts. There is certainly a good amount of awkward and clunky exposition, this edit emphasises how much even poor exposition is needed over none at all.
